You may not know this but these two ways of thinking are crucial to success and happiness, overcoming obstacles, and living your life to the fullest extent possible. Your life will change dramatically once you begin to apply these principles. Simply put, regular use of these principles is the number one way to achieve all of your goals.

There may have been times that you’ve gotten an idea that sounded good, but you’ve struggled to implement it quickly and effectively. The key is turning knowledge into action. To grasp the energy of “self-help,” you have to act on what you think and know, and use all the wonderful resources that are available to you.

Think about goals you want to accomplish. then break them down into action steps you can commit to. Adopting a can-do mindset and focusing on what you want can transform your life.

1. Decide what it is that you want.
Make a list of what is important for you to accomplish.

2. Decide what it is you don’t want.
“I don’t want to lose my
job”

3. Re-frame.
Now think positively about what you don’t want. “I won’t lose my job because I am a valuable asset to my company.”
