Here is a pat on the back if you’ve managed to stick to your New Year’s Resolutions about eating right and trying to incorporate more physical activity into your daily routine. If you’ve been eating smart, and burning a few more calories than usual, chances are you should be seeing results by now.
If you feel you have fallen short of your goals, not to worry. There is always February. And remember, you don’t have to be perfect. Even little changes can all add up to a big difference in your overall health.
Keep up the good work, and also remember, it takes 90 days for anything new to become a genuine habit, so you’re well on your way to better health and fitness.
Studies have shown that most people give up on their resolution within 6 to 8 weeks. It is now 8 weeks into the new year. So it is important to take stock of how things are going, and plan for the future. What are your best coping strategies when dealing with temptation?

Remember, you are setting your resolutions in order to be your best self and live your best life. If the resolutions are not working, reset and reboot your resolutions. Determine what is the one thing you really want to accomplish, and go for it. Once you do, you will be able to start crossing off other resolutions from your list one at at time.
