Making Money Online with Keywords

Many people seem to think that making money online is rocket science.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

It is all a question of attitude, and placing value on your time, to realize that you can attain your goals to live a better life and provide for family or causes by generating wealth.

The internet has become the equivalent of the California gold rush. We have all heard the stories about people making millions online with little work and no effort

Well, the dot com bubble may have burst, but that does not mean that you can’t make money. People just recognize now that it does take patience and effort.

It also takes information, and education. Running your own business, even if you are selling other people’s products as an affiliate (in other words, for a share of their revenue) does require certain skills and discipline.

For example, you need to do research on markets, choose products which you think will sell, set up a website, and keep track of expenses at all times, since you will need to manage the books for your new business. You will have to set a budget, pay hosting fees and so on.

Up to 75% of new businesses fail within the first 5 years. It would be sad to think of you wasting all that time and effort because you leaped before you looked.

However, having said that, there are people who have gone before, who can help teach you, even mentor you, if you feel a burning desire to go into business for yourself.

At this site, we have been talking about SEO as a crucial tool in your internet marketing strategy, but it does not get results overnight.  However, your bank of keywords will become an invaluable tool for all your marketing efforts if you recognize that they are just that, tools which can be used in many ways, and that running a successful online business does take effort.

SEO is one of the first steps you will take when building your empire, because every single page on your website has the potential to become a homepage which will lure traffic to see what you have to say, or sell. Keep SEO in mind when you are first putting together the copy for your website.

And remember, keywords, not fancy Flash presentations, are what brings people to the site.  Words they type into a search engine. Keep your site simple, clean, and clearly written, loaded with keywords in a meaningful way, and watch your traffic grow.
