How to Succeed as an Entrepreneur, Part 2

Discover more ways to drive forward to success in your small business.

In the first part of this article, we discussed the success formula persistence + dedication=SUCCESS. Let’s look at a few more strategies that can help you drive forward towards your goals.

4. Attack from all angles
Persistence can slip in even the most dedicated entrepreneurs. To gain it back you may need some inspiration. Consider attacking a problem from all angles to get the results you want.

5. Look after your physical health.
Take time out to avoid burnout. Do the things you love in order to stay positive. Appreciate what you currently have in life. Pencil in on your calendar things that are important, like exercise and time with the family.

6. Look for inspiration every day
Constantly look for new and better ways to do things-more automation, better software, a new social network, and so on. In this way you can constantly grow, but also help yourself work smarter, not harder.

All of these things will help put you in a state of mind the focuses on success. Staying committed and persistent as an entrepreneur is not an easy feat, but it can be done if you pace yourself and understand that your goals are a journey, not just a destination.

Calvin Coolidge once said: “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent (all-poweful).”

Persist in your efforts, track and test your results, be dedicated to your work, and you are sure to succeed.
