Depression is a serious health condition that can ruin your quality of life, or even end it. People with depression don’t practice good self-care. Some people even start to have suicidal thoughts. In extreme cases, they act upon those thoughts, and worst of all, succeed.
This is such a waste! The trouble is, many people don’t seek help for depression or other mental health issues for a number of reasons. They think they will be seen as “weak” or “crazy”. The truth is, if you would not be embarrassed to seek treatment for cancer, you should NOT be embarrassed to seek treatment for depression, because it can be a cancer that eats away at your quality of life.
