Most people take their bones for granted–until something goes wrong with them. A brea is often a wake-up call that bone health is important at every age, from childhood as we grow, to adulthood, and particularly our senior years, when thinning bone could lead to mobility issues due to breaks.

We assume our bones to be solid, unchanging things. The truth is that they are constantly changing and need basic building blocks in order to re-form correctly and stay healthy.

In this course, discover easy ways to boost your bone health, and that of your family, no matter what your age. Register now and discover action steps to protect your bone health, for mobility and independence no matter what your age.

Bone Health Basics

Your bones are porous structures. They’re made up of minerals like calcium and magnesium, and they perform many important functions. They protect your vital organs from damage. For example, your ribs keep your internal organs, heart, and lungs sheltered, and your skull protects your brain from injury.

Bones also keep you moving, standing, and functioning. Think about what you’d do if you didn’t have leg or arm bones. It’d be pretty difficult to get something done, right? You need bones for stability.

In this course, we are going to be looking at bone health at every age, to give you a solid foundation for physical heath through diet and exercise. Let’s start by meeting our instructors and getting our course downloads. Then you can start your first lesson.
