Juicing, as the name suggests, is all about extracting the nutritious juice from fruits and vegetables to enjoy as a drink on its own and/or a healthy substitute for soda or ‘fruit juices’ that are mostly packed with high fructose corn syrup. (HFCS)
Juicing and smoothies give you something tasty to drink that is packed with nutrition. The juice is extracted from the fruits and or veggies, giving you lots of nutritional value. The pulp leftover can be used in a range of ways, such as in fruit-based desserts, or as a thickener for soups, stews and pasta sauce. In this way, nothing goes to waste.
But everything is so tasty, even the pickiest eaters will enjoy what you make and wolf it down without a word complaint. Even broccoli- and spinach-phobes can consume these super foods when juiced and used as part of a green juice or green smoothie.
There are lots of ways to work juicing into your daily routine. We will be exploring them and giving you top tops on how to start juicing like a pro.
