But, The Dr. Phil diet emphasis is on our mental state.  Our approach to losing weight should be the same as our approach to anything else – discover the underlying problem, make a plan for success, follow the steps of the plan, and find success.
For anyone looking for a step by step eating or exercise plan, you may find better luck with another plan. If you also know what your obstacles are to losing weight, all this psychobabble may just annoy the hell out of you.
Dr. Phil’s diet plan will get you in touch with yourself, but will not give you the specifics that you seek.
He does have a line of supplements to offer you, but supplements can be tricky.  Your primary physician can tell you if specific supplements are safe for you to take.
And basically, if weight loss were as easy as taking a pill, we would all be thin. So unless you are in the mood for soul searching about you and food, this will  not be the most helpful diet you have ever been on.
